Global elements refer to the design and layout elements that appear consistently across the site. This includes your logo, main navigation menu, and footer. These elements help establish a consistent visual identity for the website to aid the user experience.
The following paragraphs are the different "lego pieces" that you could use on this page
The site header is persistent at the top of the site's pages. It is the central navigation and branding component, with the logo linking back to the homepage. The main navigation, utility navigation, search and translation also are part of the header.

The footer is a persistent element at the bottom of your website's pages. It serves as a navigational, informational and branding component, with links to important information. The content is managed by Site Admins, and the various pieces can be edited in menu settings and site settings.

The left nav, short for left navigation, refers to the vertical menu or sidebar located on the left side of a Basic Page. It provides users with a secondary set of navigation options displayed as a list menu, and helps users understand where they are are in the site and find deeper content. The navigation is built dynamically as content is added to the site navigation.
